Between the Lilies, a creation by Dutch artist Inge Naomi Oudheusden, is rooted in a lifelong curiosity for what exists beyond first impressions.
Ever since she was a child, Inge has been fascinated by the tiny worlds between the flowers. Tiny insects crawling around, leaf textures and roots beneath the soil — things most people pass by without noticing.
That way of seeing still shapes her work to this day. Through mixed-media photography and cyanotype she creates work that invites a slower gaze, encouraging viewers to look beyond what meets the eye.
